HEY PEOPLE it's been a long time since I (we?) last posted because... I (we?) forgot about this blog... and we, the founders of this blog, were at a continuous event that allowed us unlimited knowledge and prestige! Yeah, we had school -_- life sucks

ANYWAY this post is about NORAGAMI (if you didn't get it from the picture and title) and

YATO IS HOT and YUKINE IS CUTE.

So basically, this anime is about a god named Yato who promised to help this human girl Iki Hiyori to "solve her problem." This problem of hers is that her spirit and her body keep separating from one another and she cannot control it (pshhhh who cares). She paid Yato 5 yen to solve her problem (because a job costs 5 yen for Yato idk why maybe religion???? whatever) OH and Yukine is just Yato's sword who is also just a PURE spirit and these weapons/spirits are called REGALIA (LEARN YO VOCAB) and these ragalia are used to kill Youkai, which are bad spirits. So yeah, these are the three main characters and they do weird stuff. BTW in the manga and anime they still haven't fixed Hiyori's problem -_-

AND HAVE YOU SEEN YATO'S EYES?!?!? 

I don't mean like those corny pickup lines like "when I look into your eyes, I can see our future" or "every time I stare into your eyes, I get lost in them." YES, YES THAT IS EXACTLY WHAT I MEAN LIKE I mean they are GLOWING AND BLUE THE BEST KIND OMG

I actually like Yato as a full blown god of calamity because he's so COOL that way WHY CAN'T I BE COOL I WANT A SWORD TOO BUT MY MOM SAYS I'M CRAZY AND SHE JUST DOESN'T UNDERSTAND THE BEAUTY OF ANIME AND MANGA

AND Yato is a FRIGGING GOOD ARTIST

LOOK AT THAT WTH that just makes him an even better HOT guy :P

lol I love Yato so much that I forgot about Yukine and Hiyori
So Yato and Hiyori are definitely ending up together -_- (why Yato, why :( you should always be single so I can watch you in the shadows without being jealous >.>) but I guess Hiyori is pretty chill... NOT >:(

It's because that one time in theat one episode in that one season (yeah I have no idea where I saw this part... maybe it wasn't even real...) I remember Yato offered her his scarf and THAT SCARF IS IMPORTANT TO HIM I WANT IT I NEED ITand you know what Hiyori did?

BUT I also do like Yukine because he's Yato's regalia :D and because he's so CUTE (I feel like I've talked myself into a circle but WHO CARES)

Summary 

Futaba Yoshioka was an extremely cute girl that every guy liked in middle school. However she discovered that other girls disliked her because of this calling her fake and pretending to act cute. In high school Futaba changes her attitude by acting boyish keeping the guys away from her. Everything was going well until she sees a guy that resembles her middle school crush, Kou Mabuchi. Unlike the kind, gentle boy she fell in love with in middle school she Kou now has a different name and is extremely rude to her. However she cannot stay away and the two grow closer with their other classmates.

I usually don't read shoujo manga but this was sooooooooo adorable. I think I cried at multiple parts and awwwwwed too much at the adorableness. The manga has also been adapted to an anime but I read the manga which had more romantic scenes.

Making a shoujo manga enjoyable means creating characters that the reader can fall in love with. Futaba is extremely caring and dense at times and paired up with Kou's cold honest tone makes them such an adorable couple. The manga goes through many cliches such as, another girl trying to steal the guy away, trying to fall in love with someone else, etc. but seeing two characters you enjoy watching going through their struggles makes it more interesting.

You can tell Kou warming up to Futaba and regaining his lost feelings as she heals him, always being there to comfort him.


The art style is amazing too, it creates a great atmosphere and the design for them main characters are simple but outstanding. I don't want to spoil too much so READ THE MANGA IT'S ADORABLE.
